Perfection does not allow us to honor our human nature. When we seek perfection, we compete with the Gods, always in a state of lack in ourselves. To compete with the Gods is an upsurdity. We can look up to them and certainly take guidance from them, but we cannot be them. To honor our humanness is to honor our vulnerabilities and know that we are, as humans, on a life long journey of learning and growing, not to become perfect. but to become more of who we are.
