Longing to Create

the following is an exerpt from Coming Home to Myself by Woodman and Mellick:

"In her dream a pen, a paintbrush.

Do you ever paint?

Nope. i can’t paint. My sister can, but i can’t.

Her dreams are full of brushes and colors, a woman painting.

Oh, i really do love painting

Sooner or later

we have to take responsibility for who we were born to be."

What stops you?

Are you painting?

or are you longing?

Is it time for you to take responsibility for your longing? to meet it and feed it?

Can you satisfy this soul need?

"All you have to do to create is to stand out of the way."
