My Body: My Temple
My body is a wholly place to rest.
Try this:
Lie down and have someone you trust place thier hand on your heart, and their other hand on your stomach Breathe for awhile. Feel the thoughts of your mind relax, as you place your awareness into your body. take note of feelings and sensations. Remeber whatit feels like to be in your body, to embody yourself.
One woman who tried this states, "When i slow down, i notice that I’m getting old. i usually deny this. But, if i notice, i can be gentler and more compassionate with myself."
