Steven Pressfield states that the “professional” (the one who is committed to her work), eliminates chaos form her world. She “wants the carpet vacuumed and the threshold swept, so the Muse may enter and not soil her gown.”

How do you invite, or uninvite the Muse into your life and your working space? Can she enter, is there a welcome mat for her? Or is your space too dirty and cluttered so that she may miss an entrance entirely?

It is worth pondering this question, and better yet, looking around to see how she is may be being unintenionally disregarded.
