Bird Woman

With the only directive in group tonight as: Breathe in She Who Knows, She Who Trusts, and She who Rests, a client made this image.
When writing afterwards, Here is a dialogue between Birdwoman and the artist,
Who are you?
I have come to teach you how to care for your egg.
What is my egg?
What lives inside you.
Does it hatch?
It is continuously and forever becoming.
What do I have to do?
First, you must know that you are a birdwoman and that you have an egg.
See how I sit? You must make a nest to sit in and hold your egg.
See my solid body? My fertility and my beautiful feathers? Have you not wondered why you like to sit in trees; why you collect feathers and eat so many eggs?
I have been with you a very long time and now it is time for you to know what I know.
What do you know?
All things have a light and a shadow.
Look at the wind: I can fly with little effort on the balmiest breeze, or I can be tossess head over tail and barely fly at all.
Look at the water: I love to fluff and preen in a shallow puddle but in a thunderstorm I take shelter quickly.
Look at my shelter, the tree. It too has light and shadow.
And so do you and I.
The only thing that is pure light and has no shadow is your egg
because it is always becoming and it is inside of you.
