A client of mine who is overweight and self-conscious about it, shared with me this dream:

“I dream that i am wearing the black bathing suit that I recently bought. I don’t even pull the straps all the way up, but just go into the
swimming pool. Two men are there, and they come over to me and lift me up. I then notice that there are alot of people around the pool, friends, and family, and others that are cheering me on. Everyone is celebrating me, and I feel like Ms. America.”

The dream has such a different perspective on the “problem of the weight!” What seemed heavy and negative is actually raised up and celebrated. If we turn our thinking around more often, we might see things from different angles, especially our own attitudes towards ourselves! The weight is only problem to the waking dream ego.
