Art making is an action, an activity. It takes our involvement, physically. In order to be working, we have to be moving. Keep this as a reminder if you tend to procrastinate, “thinking” until you are ready to work. You get ready by showing up, by being involved, by immersing yourself with the materials. And, as is the old maxim, do not wait for inspiration. Find inspiration within the activity of working. there will usually be resistance…act anyway!
